Alana Trimmier
B i o
Alana Trimmier is a classically trained Soprano at Florida State University School of Music and has been performing for over 25 years. Growing up in the South and daughter of a Presbyterian minister, Alana first became accustomed to singing on the stage at age five and has been sharing her performing on stages in the south as well as New York City. Alana studies voice in Manhattan with Carmen Elisa Cancél.
Alana made her Carnegie Hall debut in December of 2013 in a performance of Suor Angelica. She has performed such leading roles as Amelia (Un Ballo in Maschera), Eva (Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Sister Angelica (Suor Angelica) and Musetta (La Bohème). Alana has also performed the roles of Marianne (Der Rosenkavalier), Dorothée (Cendrillon), and both The Second Lady and The Third Lady (Die Zauberflöte).
Alana was an Emerging Artist with New York Lyric Opera Theatre and a Resident Artist with the Central Florida Lyric Opera.
